7. Selections
Map Projects or Views
Map Views allows you to automatically display commonly requested map views or different projects with predefined layers and features.
To choose a commonly requested map:
- Make a selection from the drop down menu
- Click the "go!" arrow button.
The map panel will automatically display a predefined map view or project.
There are a total of four different projects within Geoweb Map:
- Engineering Applications
- General Information
- Planning Applications
- Natural Resource Inventory
When you switch between different projects your map extent will change.
Within some of map tabs, you will also see custom views for that map tab (i.e Harlingen Village View). Views will contain the word View at the end. They do not take you to a different project. They only zoom to a predefined detail area of the current map tab.
